Please note: 

  • All members are required to attend Judging Competition in July 2009.
    To join a club you must be a paid member between the ages of 10 and 21 by January 1, 2009.
    2009 membership fee is $65.

Calligraphy Club (Cayuga)
Learn the basics of a formal alphabet that is great for signs, certificates, cards etc. Members require pencil, eraser and ruler.

Clanbrassil Sewing Club

Dunnville Sewing Club
R U Itch’n to Stitch?  Come and learn how to use a sewing machine.  Our club will be starting with a basic project, PJ pants or
lounge wear.  March and April.

Field Crops Club (Canfield)
Prepare and exhibit 5 crop samples at the Dunnville or Caledonia and Royal Winter Fair.  Organization meeting in March.

4 Seasons Club (Hagersville)
Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day etc. Learn the history behind the holidays. Enjoy crafts, baking, flower
arranging etc. Meetings held throughout the year.

Get Crackin Club (Dunnville)
Learn different methods of cooking eggs and using them in recipes.  Tour of an Egg Layer barn, and possibly the Egg Grading
Station in Mississauga.  May and June.

Milk Makes It Better Club (Hagersville)
Members will learn all about milk and dairy products. Starts in February. Tuesday nights, 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

Leadership Club (Dunnville/Lowbanks)
Recommended for ALL Youth Leaders, ages 14 and up; topics include leadership in 4-H, setting visions and goals, knowing yourself,
working with others and more.
6 weeks – March break until end of April.

Sports Club (Caledonia area)
Different sports activity each month at various locations depending on activity. Running monthly from March to November. No
meetings July or Sept.

Toastmasters Club (Caledonia)
Speak Up! Feel more confident speaking in front of a group. Learn how to become less nervous, listen more effectively
and more. Starting the week of March 23rd, and running for 7 weeks. Additional Fee $12.00 for Participant’s Handbook.

Learn how to care for your BBQ. Grill meats, vegetables and desserts.  Some Saturdays  and weeknights.

A cooking club to learn how to incorporate red meat into a healthy diet. Starts in October, Monday nights, 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Learn the basics of cookie making, and experiment with recipes from around the world.

Livestock Clubs – Spring 'til Fall
Livestock club members MUST commit to extra hours to groom and train their animals. Members will have the opportunity to
compete at local fairs; and participate in Achievement Day at Caledonia Fair on October 3rd, 2009.

Beef Club (various beef farms)
Members will learn to train and care for a beef calf. Meetings held at farms of club members, spring through to fall.

Members will learn how to take care of Heifers & Dry Cows. Includes a day trip for farm tours and Dairy Museum in Aylmer.

Focus on housing and paddocks. Members will visit some “mini homes”. Begins March, Saturday mornings 10:00 am to noon

Rabbit Club
Focus on showing procedures and terms, plus health and diseases. April to October, one meeting, trip or special event per
month; Guest Speakers, ARBA sanctioned Judge and others. Last meeting will be a picnic for members and their parents
following our Showmanship practice. Members may participate in Demonstration at Ancaster Fair.
Additional fee $20. due at first meeting.
